Mobile Money would be a big step for any wireless carrier, even those doing strong business. For T-Mobile to step into the new space when it's still just a couple quarters into a recovery makes many feel a bit uncomfortable. T-Mobile's Mobile Money is a good idea but T-Mobile has to strengthen itself financially before wandering outside the lines.
